anyone know how you reverse a clip (play backwards) a clip in premiere? I wanted to experiment with some effects, and mayeb do something like that Coldplay vid ("The Scientist" is it). Anyone know how to do it?

I met the guy who editied that the other week. He was really cool. For anyone who was wondering how they did it, they got yer man to learn to sing it backwards phonetically, although apparently he could'nt get the word "again" so they cut away a lot.

Meeting that editing fella must have been cool. I remember some beer advert capmpaing in the early 90's done that effect, so its nothing groundbreaking but it looks cool.
How do i get a backwards filter???

Hey there.
There is a backwards filter that does the job. Or you could just set the speed to minus numbers.
Despin out.

In order to play video or clips backwards in Premiere simply right click on the clip (which must be placed on the Timeline) and select speed from the menu. The default setting is 100%. Changing this setting to -100% will play the clip backwards.
Hope this helps.
